When a patient is missing some or all of his or her teeth, our Auburn Dentist may recommend dentures. For some people, dentures represent a more economical alternative to dental implants and crowns. Other patients may lack the proper jawbone structure to support a dental implant, and require a less invasive option. In either case, Auburn Avenue Dental can custom-build you a set of full or partial dentures that will look and feel natural in your mouth.
Dentures are covered by some insurance policies. Consult your own policy for details.
How do Dentures Work?
When you get a set of dentures from our Auburn dental clinic, we start by custom-building a set of false teeth based on the layout of your mouth so as to achieve a maximum of comfort and effectiveness. In this way, we are able to give you a set of dentures that both looks and feels like your own, original teeth. Once the dentures have been constructed, they are either fitted onto your gums or attached to a set of dental implants for a more secure placement.
If you still have some healthy teeth in your mouth, you might be a candidate for partial dentures. These are similar to full dentures, but allow you to continue making use of your remaining teeth. Wearing partial dentures serves to prevent your natural teeth from drifting out of position, keeping them strong and healthy well into the future.
Auburn Avenue Dental provides dentures to patients from throughout Auburn. Book an appointment online or call our office at (253) 833-3680.
